The council, together with Scottish Natural Heritage have commissioned Consultant Landscape Architects to update the º£½ÇÉçÇø and Bute Landscape Wind Energy Capacity Study 2012. The updated study was approved by the Councils Planning Protective º£½ÇÉçÇø and Licensing Committee on 20th September 2017.
There are two separate parts to the report. The Main Study Report provides details of the background and methodology of the study, a description of the baseline landscape character, and summary sensitivity assessments for each landscape character type. The Appendix Report provides detailed sensitivity assessments for each of the landscape character types.
