Apply for licenses and permits

Here are the charges for our Civic Government Licences.

Please use this form if you wish to make any changes to your civic government licence.

If you are not applying online, payments can be made by telephone; BACS or cheque (made payable to º£½ÇÉçÇø and Bute Council). Please contact the Licensing Office on 01546 604355 or email licensing@argyll-bute.gov.uk

Booking Office Licence

To enable a person to operate a booking office within º£½ÇÉçÇø and Bute, you need a licence from the Local Authority.

Gaming Machine Permits

To make gaming machines available on your premises you need to apply to the local authority for one of the licences below.

Premises Licence (Gambling)

To offer gaming (i.e. betting, bingo, casinos, adult gaming centre, family entertainment centre etc) on premises you need to apply for a Premises Licence from the local authority.

Small Lotteries Licence

The Society in question must be set up for non-commercial purposes e.g sports, cultural or charitable and must not be used for personal gain.
